CoDesign Studio is a global leading placemaking firm and one of Australia’s leading voices on social sustainability. A new breed of citymaker, we are urban designers and community consultants working with government councils, property developers, industry bodies and community leaders to ensure that we have better, safer and healthier spaces for people to connect and thrive in an ever-changing world.

For over seven years, CoDesign has led the movement for change in urban development to create places that drive positive outcomes for people. We create and fix places to improve their value in terms of social, cultural, environmental and economic value, by taking a collaborative approach led by local people. We use our award winning systems and frameworks to engage multi-level stakeholders for lasting and meaningful outcomes.

We are known for advancing, promoting, and researching innovative approaches to placemaking and have influenced major urban development decisions nationally with public, private and not-for-profit clients. This includes completing over 100 neighbourhood improvement projects, impacting thousands of lives, whilst increasing social cohesion and reducing loneliness.
